Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Mehfill Shawarma and Kathi Roll is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring minimal waste and optimal inventory management.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Criminal record check.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on client satisfaction.
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team.
Work Environment:

Mehfill Shawarma and Kathi Roll is a dynamic and fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be required to work in a standing position for extended periods, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You must be physically capable of handling the demands of this role.

Language:

English is the primary language of communication in this role.

Work Term:

Permanent position.

Hours:

40 hours per week.
