Food Service Supervisor

DAHIEM'S FOOD INC. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities
Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Train and Develop StaffTrain staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
Manage Inventory and SuppliesEstimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and ensure that all inventory is managed effectively to minimize waste and optimize costs.
Ensure Quality and SafetyEnsure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that all health and safety regulations are adhered to.
Prepare Reports and BudgetsPrepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure that the department is operating within budget.
Address Customer ComplaintsAddress customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and ensure that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.
Requirements- Education
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
ExperienceExperience in a food service environment is an asset.
Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Physical DemandsCombination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Work EnvironmentFast-paced environment with tight deadlines, requiring the ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
Personal Suitability- Client Focus
Client focus and excellent oral communication skills are essential for this role.
Efficient Interpersonal SkillsEfficient interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are required.
