We are seeking a talented Financial Business Associate to become part of our Finance Business Partner team within the Management Analytics division at CPP Investments. In this pivotal role, you will provide essential financial insights that support strategic decision-making across various investment sectors. This position demands a solid foundation in financial analysis, outstanding communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside team members to scrutinize investment sector data and deliver insights to senior leadership.
  • Develop compelling materials, including data visualizations, to enhance discussions and facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Assist in the annual business planning cycle by formulating budgets that align with departmental objectives.
  • Guarantee the precision and relevance of financial data for reporting purposes.
  • Contribute to innovative data initiatives and offer valuable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Finance colleagues to create reporting dashboards that adapt to the organization’s evolving analytical requirements.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with team members and other departments.
  • Respond to ad-hoc inquiries to support investment assessments and strategic choices.

Qualifications:

  • At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional certifications (CFA, CPA, CIPM) are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI is preferred.
  • Exceptional presentation skills, particularly with MS PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and the ability to perform under pressure.
  • Strong project management capabilities and proficiency in coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Self-driven, adaptable, and capable of innovative thinking.
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must exemplify high performance, integrity, and collaborative principles.
