Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will be responsible for planning, sourcing, and assessing external candidates to support our business plans and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Talent Acquisition Planning - Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to identify quality candidates for our portfolios, ensuring timely and successful hiring processes.
  • Strategic Sourcing - Identify and leverage various sourcing channels to build a diverse pipeline of candidates, including professional networks, online platforms, and community events.
  • Business Acumen - Stay up-to-date on labor market trends and competitor information, providing valuable insights and recommendations to our business partners to improve the quality of external hires.
  • Relationship Management - Build and maintain strong professional relationships with leaders, internal partners, and candidates, delivering a best-in-class candidate experience through regular communication and talent pipeline management.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field, with a strong understanding of labor market trends and competitor information.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
