About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at JMK Mahal Restaurant Ltd. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Budget Management: Analyze and manage the restaurant's budget to optimize profits, including forecasting revenue and expenses, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Menu Planning and Pricing: Develop and implement menu plans and pricing strategies to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and train a team of 11-15 staff members, including kitchen staff, servers, and management.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to operate efficiently.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service, including responding to complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing and promotional activities to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and submit financial reports to management, including balance sheets, cash reports, and other relevant financial information.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and MS Word.

  • Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a large workload and overtime required.
