Position Overview
Witt O'Brien's is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This role is pivotal in shaping the financial landscape of our organization and ensuring our commitment to excellence in financial management.

Role Summary
The CFO will oversee the financial operations of Witt O'Brien's, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. The individual will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and strategic oversight of potential investments, mergers, and acquisitions. This position will also involve reporting financial performance to our parent company.

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to provide strategic financial guidance and support business decisions.
• Direct and manage all finance and accounting functions, ensuring adherence to U.S. GAAP and statutory reporting requirements.
• Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of development and retention.
• Establish and monitor financial objectives, including budgets and forecasts, to drive organizational growth.
• Enhance operational efficiency by streamlining financial processes and implementing automation where feasible.
• Conduct thorough financial analyses for potential acquisitions and strategic partnerships, ensuring seamless integration post-acquisition.
• Liaise with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to maintain compliance and manage financial audits.
• Maintain open lines of communication with all stakeholders, including customers and financial partners, to align with organizational goals.

Qualifications
• A degree in finance, accounting, or business is essential; CPA or MBA credentials are highly preferred.
• At least 15 years of relevant experience in finance, with a minimum of 3 years in a senior leadership role, ideally within a professional services environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to leadership.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations, particularly U.S. GAAP.
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and strategic financial planning.
• Strong leadership capabilities, with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Ability to navigate complex financial scenarios and drive organizational change effectively.
