Executive Director of Operations

We are seeking an experienced Executive Director of Operations to join our team at Joe Johnson Equipment Edmonton. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing operational strategies that drive business growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement annual operating plans that align with company objectives.
- Operational Excellence: Assess and report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best-practice initiatives to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Leadership and Development: Provide coaching and guidance to direct reports, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue business development opportunities, working closely with regional directors and key stakeholders to drive growth and profitability.
- Facility Management: Oversee facility improvement and capital purchase requests, providing recommendations to executive management on cost analysis, lease renewals, renovations, and relocations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to corporate compliance and SOPs, identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Education: Completion of a degree in Business Administration or related discipline, or a combination of education, training, and equivalent experience.
- Experience: 10+ years' experience in an operational management role within the field of a Heavy, Industrial, or Agricultural equipment dealership.
- Skills: Strong financial and business acumen, strategic mindset, excellent communication and leadership skills, and ability to foster teamwork and motivate employees.
