Position Overview
Witt O'Brien's is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer to join our executive leadership team. This pivotal role will oversee the financial operations and strategic financial planning of the organization, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities
As the CFO, you will be tasked with:

  • Advising the CEO and other senior executives on financial matters and business strategies.
  • Leading the finance and accounting departments, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Managing the financial planning process, including budget preparation and forecasting.
  • Developing and mentoring the finance team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Streamlining financial processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborating with the executive team on potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.
  • Coordinating with external stakeholders, including auditors and tax advisors, to ensure compliance and accurate reporting.
  • Maintaining open communication with all stakeholders to align financial objectives with organizational goals.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or business; CPA or MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
  • Strong analytical skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles.
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience in team development and project management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders.
  • A track record of successfully managing financial operations in a complex, dynamic environment.
