Job Title: Director, Content Planning

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to lead our Content Planning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating, deploying, and maintaining the organization's strategic framework, working closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board of Directors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of IWK Health Centre's annual strategic plan
  • Oversee the management and delivery of approved business cases and provincial transformation initiatives
  • Develop and implement the organization's continuous improvement program, including leading and facilitating priority LEAN improvement projects
  • Hold responsibility for IWK Health Centre's enterprise risk management (ERM) framework, including its risk and control registers
  • Provide leadership and guidance to foster a culture of accountability and transparency to support the organization in developing and achieving its strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • 5 hours/week, Monday – Friday
  • 5-8 years of experience in a relevant field of expertise, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role
  • Expert content knowledge in key areas of leadership responsibility
  • Expert knowledge in field to critically analyze evidence-based practices to inform strategy development and organizational planning
  • Quality improvement methodologies
  • High level of emotional intelligence – self-awareness/self-reflection
About the Role

This is a Management/Non Union position. Preference is given to bargaining unit employees for unionized positions.
