Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Radiology Technologist II at Nova Scotia Health Authority, you will be responsible for performing radiological procedures for medical diagnosis in the operating room and X-ray department. Your duties will involve:
- Performing radiological procedures for medical diagnosis
- Troubleshooting equipment and ensuring quality imaging
- Liaising with medical staff and preparing patients for exams
- Ensuring minimal radiation exposure and maintaining a safe working environment
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in Radiological Technology
- Current registration with the Nova Scotia College of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Professionals
- Completion of a Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada Basic Life Support program
- Paediatric imaging experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Competency in French is a plus
