We are thrilled to present a unique opportunity within our Toronto office for a Lead Marketing Analytics Strategist in our Business Insights Department. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a vital consultant to our CMO and Marketing Leadership team, significantly contributing to the formulation of growth strategies and performing essential analyses on business initiatives. Join us in our mission to establish one of the most robust and dynamic business insights teams in Canada and across the McDonald's system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver analytical insights and support for the development of marketing strategies
  • Steer business performance assessments and forecasts through engagement with senior leadership
  • Supervise the projection of business trajectories and critical influencing factors
  • Direct the establishment of corporate objectives and oversee reporting against these goals
  • Innovate and implement new datasets and tools to enhance business intelligence
  • Lead the Marketing Analytics team in supporting various marketing categories and promotional efforts
  • Enhance vendor partnerships and team capabilities to promote data democratization and automation
  • Identify and address intricate business challenges to foster future growth
  • Oversee business case development, measurement, and post-initiative analysis of marketing efforts
  • Contribute to the formulation of short-term strategies while executing long-term objectives
  • Provide mentorship and leadership for team members' career progression

Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: Six to eight years of experience, with a minimum of three years in a managerial capacity
  • Education: Bachelor's degree with a focus on business; an MBA or related Master's degree is advantageous
  • Skills: Proven experience in team leadership, financial and data analysis, category management, and marketing strategy. Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with SQL, Tableau, and PowerBI is a plus
