Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Om Sai Namah Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Supervise and Coordinate Staff Activities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.

Train and Develop Staff

Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit reports on a regular basis, providing management with accurate and timely information on departmental performance.

Establish Work Schedules

Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment.

Supervision

3-4 people.

Security and Safety

Bondable.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods, and physically demanding.

Personal Suitability

Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, and team player.

Work Environment

Om Sai Namah Inc is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, and the successful candidate will be required to work in a team-oriented setting.
