Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SAMAYRA FOODS INC. as a Restaurant Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our staff are well-trained and productive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Human Resources
    • Hire and train food service staff to meet the needs of our restaurant.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food, supplies, and labor.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Environment
    • Food service establishment, restaurant.
