Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Food Service Staff
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the activities of our food service staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.
Establish Methods to Meet Work SchedulesThe successful candidate will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, including requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
Train Staff in Job Duties and Quality ControlThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.
Maintain Records of Stock, Repairs, Sales and WastageThe successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, and providing regular reports to management.
Establish Work SchedulesThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing work schedules, including ensuring that our staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements- Education
A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.
Work Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment is required.
LanguageFluency in English is required.
Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing and walking.
Security and SafetyA basic security clearance is required.
TransportationA valid driver's license and access to a vehicle are an asset.
Personal SuitabilityThe successful candidate will be required to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
