Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TownePlace Suites by Marriott. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and leading a team of staff to achieve high standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff: Lead a team of food service staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they are equipped to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
  • Train Staff in Job Duties and Safety Procedures: Develop and implement training programs to ensure staff are knowledgeable about job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Ensure Quality Control Standards: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to meet customer expectations.
  • Address Customer Complaints: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints, resolving issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient operations.
  • Provide Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Provide support and assistance to clients/guests with special needs, ensuring their requirements are met and their experience is positive.
Work Environment

Our food service department operates in a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism, adaptability, and a customer-focused mindset.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service or hospitality role
  • Language: English
