Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Co-ordinate Food Service Staff
The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the activities of our food service staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.
Establish Methods to Meet Work SchedulesThe successful candidate will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, including requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.
Train Staff in Job Duties and Quality ControlThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.
Ensure Quality Control StandardsThe successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet quality control standards, including addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain Records and ReportsThe Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and providing regular reports to management.
Requirements- Education
A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.
Work Experience7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment is required.
LanguageFluency in English is required.
Work EnvironmentThe successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will also be required to work under pressure and be physically demanding.
Security ClearanceA basic security clearance is required.
TransportationThe successful candidate will be required to have access to a vehicle or public transportation.
