Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2723803 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Co-ordinate Food Service Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and co-ordinating the activities of our food service staff, including training them in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.

Establish Methods to Meet Work Schedules

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, including requisitioning food and kitchen supplies, and ensuring that our kitchen is well-stocked and organized.

Train Staff in Job Duties and Quality Control

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for training staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and ensuring that they are aware of our quality control standards.

Ensure Quality Control Standards

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our food and service meet quality control standards, including addressing customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

Maintain Records and Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and providing regular reports to management.

Requirements
  • Education

A college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years is required.

Work Experience

7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment is required.

Language

Fluency in English is required.

Work Environment

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. They will also be required to work under pressure and be physically demanding.

Security Clearance

A basic security clearance is required.

Transportation

The successful candidate will be required to have access to a vehicle or public transportation.
