Head of Liquidity and Funding Management

About the Role:
The Bank of Montreal is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive liquidity and funding management framework within Corporate Treasury. As Senior Manager, Liquidity and Funding Solutions, you will be responsible for optimizing risks and maximizing risk-adjusted profitability for the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a strategic liquidity and funding management framework to support the Bank's business objectives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate liquidity and funding risks
- Design and implement effective funding strategies to optimize risk-adjusted profitability
- Monitor and analyze market trends and regulatory requirements to inform liquidity and funding management decisions
- Provide thought leadership and expertise to senior management and stakeholders on liquidity and funding management best practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in liquidity and funding management, preferably in a banking or financial institution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data and market trends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial markets and regulatory requirements
