About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 7560584 Manitoba Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our menu offerings are of the highest quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness in our dishes.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the daily operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to meet the demands of our menu and service standards.
  • Staff Management
    • Lead and motivate a team of cooks and kitchen staff to achieve exceptional results and high levels of customer satisfaction.
    • Provide coaching and feedback to staff to improve performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering to ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet demand.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices and ensure timely delivery.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are aware of and adhere to health and safety protocols and procedures.
    • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address any potential hazards or issues.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation and presentation.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to train and develop staff.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. The role requires the ability to work in a physically demanding environment and to stand for extended periods.

Language

The primary language of work is English.
