Food Service Supervisor

The Food Service Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that all staff members adhere to high standards of food preparation and customer service.
Qualifications- Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
- Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
- Setting: Fast-paced food service establishment.
- Work Conditions: Must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff involved in food preparation and portioning.
- Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
- Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
- Ensure that food quality and service meet established standards.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
- Prepare and submit necessary reports.
- Compile food order summaries for the chef.
- Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
Physical Requirements- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and engage in walking.
- Attention to detail is essential.
- Strong client focus and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal communication abilities.
- Flexibility and a collaborative team spirit.
- Demonstrated initiative in the workplace.
- Type: Permanent position.

- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
