Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our coffee shop and restaurant, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customers receive excellent service and have a positive experience in our coffee shop and restaurant
  • Operations and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, customer feedback, and staff performance
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that inventory levels are maintained
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service or restaurant environment
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures
    • Ability to train and supervise staff
