Position Overview

The Food Service Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our restaurant. This position requires a strong background in food service management and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a similar role or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Food service establishment
  • Restaurant setting
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to achieve work schedules
  • Oversee and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef
  • Establish and manage work schedules
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 individuals.
