Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Supervisor at Manchu Wok involves overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant to ensure exceptional service and quality food preparation.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry or equivalent experience
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced food service establishment
  • Restaurant setting
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning
  • Train employees on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit operational reports
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 3-4 staff members.
