About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Manager to join our team at 1132151 B.C. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of quality in all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision
    • Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Training and Development
    • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
  • Customer Service
    • Negotiate with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
    • Perform front desk duties, including check-in and check-out procedures.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets to ensure financial stability and growth.
    • Monitor revenues and expenses to optimize profitability.
  • Marketing and Promotion
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Maintenance and Facilities
    • Oversee maintenance activities to ensure the motel's facilities are well-maintained and up-to-date.
  • Policies and Procedures
    • Enforce company policies and procedures to ensure consistency and quality.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
