Position Overview

The role of a Motel Manager involves overseeing the daily operations of a lodging establishment, ensuring a high standard of service and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and less than 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff members.
  • Conduct training sessions to enhance employee skills.
  • Negotiate with clients regarding the use of facilities.
  • Perform front desk operations, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, monitoring both revenues and expenses.
