About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Motel Manager to join our team at 1132151 B.C. LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our motel, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their job responsibilities.
  • Training and Development: Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of staff members, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
  • Customer Service: Negotiate with clients for the use of facilities, perform front desk duties, and address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure that the motel is operating within budget.
  • Marketing and Promotion: Implement marketing activities to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Arrange for and oversee maintenance activities to ensure that the motel's facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
  • Policies and Procedures: Enforce policies and procedures to ensure that the motel is operating in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent written communication, flexibility, and a team player.
