Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Wild Wing (St. Catherines). As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Food Quality and Control
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records.
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage.
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
    Requirements
    • Education
      • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • Experience
      • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service establishment.
    • Work Setting
      • Food service establishment with a fast-paced environment and tight deadlines.
    • Personal Suitability
      • Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability.
    • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
      • Work under pressure, fast-paced environment, and tight deadlines.
    • Work Language
      • English.
    • Work Term
      • Permanent.
    • Hours
      • 30 hours per week.
