RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the general manager and kitchen team to cultivate a positive working atmosphere through passion and integrity.
  • Support the general manager in meeting daily operational and sales objectives, ensuring adherence to inventory management and food safety protocols.
  • Organize and implement daily shift plans and operational routines for the team.
  • Serve as a role model by following and enforcing MANDY'S policies and procedures, showcasing product knowledge.
  • Assist the general manager in ensuring that team performance meets or surpasses company standards for quality, service, and guest satisfaction.
  • Aid in the development of team members by providing ongoing feedback and tracking their individual progress.
  • Lead daily team meetings.
  • Manage daily break schedules for the team.
  • Work with the back-of-house team to monitor customer order wait times and address any customer concerns.
  • Complete daily reporting requirements.
  • Assist in the recruitment of new team members.
  • Continuously assess operations to identify areas for improvement.
  • Carry out administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the general manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership or supervisory experience in the restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors preferred.
  • Culinary experience is an asset.
  • Degree in culinary or hospitality fields is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
  • Team-oriented with leadership skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in French is required.
  • Must possess confidence, integrity, stress management skills, energy, autonomy, initiative, flexibility, quality focus, and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to adhere to and implement company policies and meet compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced and evolving environments.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and work in warm conditions.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
  • Computer skills and tech-savvy (e.g., G Suite).
  • MAPAQ certification and first aid training are assets.
