Restaurant Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team at 2539752 Ontario Inc. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Staff Supervision: Conduct performance reviews, provide guidance and support to staff, and ensure that they are meeting the high standards of our restaurant.
  • Inventory Management: Cost products and services, negotiate arrangements with suppliers, and ensure that our inventory is properly managed to minimize waste and maximize profits.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, provide excellent customer service, and ensure that our customers have a positive experience in our restaurant.
  • Operations Management: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, repetitive tasks, attention to detail, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions:
  • 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Permanent position.
  • English language.
