Plant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Superintendent to join our team at Atlantic Packaging. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our corrugated operations, ensuring the highest levels of productivity, quality, and safety.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity and quality, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of daily operations.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards, ensuring a safe working environment for all employees.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, driving efficiency and reducing costs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
- 5-10 years of experience in a manufacturing or operations leadership role, preferably in the paper or packaging industry.
- Proven track record of improving productivity, quality, and safety in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including OH&S and quality management systems.
