Plant Operations Manager

About the Role:
CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Plant Controller to lead the financial operations of our Hamilton plant. As a key member of our site's leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the plant, including managing a team and implementing a new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting and financial reporting for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Lead financial operations, including costing, billing, and inventory management, to optimize plant performance and efficiency.
- Implement and improve processes related to the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes.
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement budgeting and financial targets, driving business growth and profitability.
- Prepare monthly financial reports for stakeholders, providing insightful analysis and recommendations for improvement.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in financial management and leadership.
- CPA designation or equivalent, with a deep understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and ERP systems, with the ability to analyze complex data and identify trends.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvements, able to drive change and implement best practices.
