About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Plant Operations Manager to join our team at Air Liquide Canada. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Scheduling: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demand and ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Plan and implement equipment maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Quality Control: Direct quality control inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train employees in the use of new equipment and production techniques.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Budget Management: Develop and manage departmental budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as engineering, operations management, or business administration.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a manufacturing operations role.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the chemical industry is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
