Power Plant Operations Technician

Candidates should possess a College/CEGEP level education.

The role is situated within a manufacturing and industrial plant.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and complete station records, logs, and reports.
- Analyze instrument readings and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Contribute to the development of operational, maintenance, and safety protocols.
- Investigate and resolve minor technical problems.
- Issue work and test permits to maintenance teams.
- Keep a daily log of operational and safety activities.
- Monitor and inspect equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
- Operate automated control systems.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment.
- Regulate water levels within the facility.
- Start and shut down power plant machinery.
Required certification includes Stationary Engineer 3rd Class.
