About the Role

Mace is seeking an experienced Organizational Development Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the design, implementation, and evaluation of strategies and initiatives that enhance the overall performance and effectiveness of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organizational Assessment and Development
    • Conduct comprehensive organizational assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address these issues.
    • Design and facilitate workshops, training programs, and team-building activities that promote employee development and collaboration.
  • Talent Management and Succession Planning
    • Collaborate with Mace's HR and Capacity and Capability teams to develop and implement talent management and succession planning strategies.
  • Change Management and Communication
    • Support project organizational change management initiatives, including communication plans, to ensure smooth implementation of organizational changes.
  • Industry Trends and Best Practices
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in organizational development and implement relevant strategies and interventions.
  • Competency Framework and Training Plan
    • Support the development of a Competency Framework and a training plan to bridge any gaps between future desired state and current competence levels and associated KPIs.
  • Leadership and Management Development
    • Support the transition to a high-performance delivery organization with complementary leadership and management development programs (using coaching, and other collaboration tools) to address assessed shortfalls.
  • Client and Partner Relationships
    • Manage the relationships with client and partner stakeholders in relation to learning and development.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • Minimum of 7 years of experience building agile and sustainable learning and development programs within a complex enterprise.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Experience in organizational development, team building, leadership development, lean and agile methodologies.
    • Strong understanding of organizational development principles, theories, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.
    • Ability to analyze complex organizational issues and develop data-driven solutions.
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and facilitating training programs and workshops.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify root causes of organizational issues and develop effective interventions.
    • Knowledge of change management principles and the ability to navigate and manage organizational change.
    • Proficient in using various organizational development tools and assessments.
    • Strong leadership and influencing skills to drive change and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
    • High level of professionalism and integrity in handling sensitive and confidential information.
    • Strong organizational skills with particular focus on identifying gaps in org structures and providing solutions to resolve them.
  • Education and Certifications
    • Post-secondary education in learning and development or related discipline, master's would be considered an asset.
    • Certification in organizational development or a related field is highly desirable.
    • Project management or professional business qualification is an asset.
