We are seeking an experienced Organizational Development Manager to join our team at the City of Toronto. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing organizational effectiveness initiatives that promote a culture of engagement, equity, and continuous learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the development and implementation of organizational strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support to senior leaders on organizational development and effectiveness initiatives.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address performance gaps and develop strategies to improve organizational performance.
  • Develop and manage initiatives that promote organizational culture, employee engagement, and leadership development.
  • Provide expert advice and decision support to senior leaders on complex issues affecting divisional operations and resources.
  • Prepare briefing notes, reports, and presentations for senior management.
  • Foster an organizational culture that emphasizes engagement, equity, continuous learning, collaboration, transparency, accountability, psychological safety, and trust.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
  • Extensive experience in organizational development, human resources, or a related field with a proven track record in designing and implementing organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Skilled in managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
