Manitoba Aerospace is a not-for-profit organization that partners with the local aerospace industry to develop a skilled workforce. We are committed to diversity and inclusion, and we believe that Indigenous representation is essential for the sector's continued success.

We are seeking a motivated Indigenous Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and retaining Indigenous candidates for training programs that can lead to careers in the aerospace and aviation industries.

The ideal candidate will have a degree or certification in a field related to education, psychology, sociology, behavioral science, human resources, or social work. They will also have excellent written and oral communication skills, a practical understanding of Microsoft Office, and experience in recruitment, marketing, or outreach activities.

The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Centre for Aboriginal Human Resource Development (CAHRD) and Neeginan College to develop and implement recruitment strategies, provide support services to trainees/employees, raise awareness of the aerospace industry among the Indigenous community, and promote an understanding of Indigenous issues for the local aerospace industry.

The role requires a current driver's license and access to a vehicle, as well as the ability to work occasional evenings and/or weekends. Aerospace/aviation experience is not required, as we will provide on-the-job training to the right candidate.
