We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager, Mergers and Acquisitions to join our Digital Solutions team in Toronto, ON.
As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will play a key role in supporting BASF's growth strategy by leading projects in the area of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and new sites focusing on Information Services to enable business solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Lead IT projects with a focus on business targets.
- Deliver complete projects on time, within budget, scope, and high quality.
- Drive the delivery model in alignment with BASF Digital Services strategy targets.
- Lead large cross-functional, cross-regional project teams throughout the project phases in a global environment, including teams outside BASF Digital Services.
- Set up the project organization, identify relevant roles, and staff the project team.
- Ensure project process compliance, support project approval and change management process, achieve project stage gates, and provide status reporting.
- A Master's degree or University degree in Applied Sciences (Information Technologies, Business IT, Business Administration) or related field, with several years of IT business solution consultant or general business experience, as well as additional education.
- PMP Certification or similar (PMI, Prince, etc.).
- At least 5 years of professional experience in project management, including mergers & acquisitions projects, and familiarity with IT challenges.
- SAP ERP experience is a plus.
- Strong entrepreneurial drive and communication skills.
- Well-developed conflict management skills and strategic thinking capabilities.
