Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Claims Resolution Specialist to join our team at CAA Club Group. As a Claims Resolution Specialist, you will be responsible for settling claims related to habitation, automobile, motorcycle, long haul trucking, commercial, and warranty programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine and assess coverage of claims
  • Conduct investigations, including statements and loss assessments
  • Negotiate settlements and determine subrogation potential
  • Guide and direct external vendors for effective investigation and control of claims
  • Prepare correspondence and file reports
  • Process payments and maintain timely and accurate claim reserves
  • Manage claims audit programs

Requirements

  • College certificate
  • Personal-lines Damage Insurance and Commercial-line Damage Insurance Claims Adjuster AMF permit
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • CIP or FCIP designation or working towards is an asset
  • Bilingual English-French, spoken and written
  • Strong business writing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, organizational, decision-making, problem-solving, and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a claim department with evolving duties and responsibilities
