Position Overview

Brand Momentum is seeking a Floral Merchandising Specialist to operate autonomously at a designated retail location for approximately 4-5 hours weekly.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently while possessing keen attention to detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at cultivating robust business relationships. Previous experience in merchandising within a retail setting is advantageous. A smartphone and internet access are essential. If you have a passion for gardening and a knack for nurturing plants, this opportunity is perfect for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct merchandising activities at one retail location
  • Maintain product displays, including restocking and managing plant health
  • Resolve any inventory shortages
  • Ensure cleanliness of display areas, including dusting and general upkeep
  • Water plants and flowers as needed
  • Complete and submit daily visit and call reports
  • Visit the store bi-weekly (beginning of the week and just before the weekend)
  • Establish and nurture a positive relationship with the store manager
  • Remove any dead foliage or blooms
  • Dispose of any unsellable products
  • Document display arrangements with photographs

Qualifications and Requirements

Your residence should ideally be within a 10 KM radius of the retail location (preferably accessible by car).

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs is required. Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory.

Must possess a smartphone and have internet access.
