Position Overview
Brand Momentum is in search of a Floral Merchandising Specialist to operate autonomously at a designated retail location for approximately 4-5 hours weekly.
About You
You are a dedicated professional with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently while possessing a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at cultivating robust business relationships. Experience in merchandising within a supermarket setting is advantageous. A smartphone and internet access are essential. If you have a passion for gardening and a green thumb, this role is an excellent fit for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute merchandising tasks at a single retail outlet
- Manage sections, including restocking and removing dead plants
- Address any stock shortages
- Maintain cleanliness of sections: dusting display fixtures and general tidying
- Water plants and flowers
- Submit daily visit and call reports as required
- Conduct store visits twice weekly (early in the week and prior to the weekend)
- Foster a positive relationship with the store manager
- Eliminate any dead leaves or blooms
- Remove unsalable products
- Document displays with photographs
Qualifications and Requirements
- Preferred home location within 10 KM of the retail store (preferably by car)
- Capability to lift up to 25lbs
- Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not mandatory
- Possession of a smartphone and internet access
