Role Overview

In this pivotal role, you will be integral to our dynamic organization, engaging in various facets of restaurant management. Your responsibilities will include fostering high-performing teams, adhering to established systems and procedures, and collaborating closely with both front-of-house and back-of-house teams. You will demonstrate strong ownership and vision daily, ensuring our restaurant maintains its distinguished reputation while providing a warm and memorable guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clearly communicate the restaurant's vision to all team members, leading by example.
  • Embody the core values of O&B and inspire the team with a compelling vision for the future.
  • Regularly monitor and achieve O&B's standards of technical service and attention to detail.
  • Build and nurture relationships with guests, team members, and senior management.
  • Motivate the team to exceed expectations and develop a remarkable bar program.
  • Uphold high standards of personal integrity and business ethics, promoting the restaurant positively.
  • Identify and develop talent, coaching managers on recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Utilize conflict resolution and problem-solving skills, inspiring others to do the same.
  • Demonstrate strong business acumen, providing accurate reports on sales, invoicing, payroll, and inventory management to the Director of Operations.
  • Guide management in conducting well-informed briefings with service staff prior to each function or service.
  • Understand service and business needs, scheduling accordingly to optimize operations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience in the hospitality sector.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • A proactive approach to enhancing operational efficiency.
  • A commitment to achieving goals and encouraging the team to set new challenges.
  • A collaborative mindset, recognizing the strength of teamwork.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to think quickly in dynamic situations.
