Role Overview

Key Responsibilities:

Upholding the highest standards of service and consistently exceeding guest expectations Collaborating with Front of House and Back of House management to meet human resources goals through effective recruitment, orientation, scheduling, and performance reviews Enforcing company policies and operational procedures effectively Meeting operational targets across all service areas by developing and executing action plans, enhancing productivity, and maintaining quality standards Working closely with the Events and Private Dining teams to ensure seamless operations for private events Addressing and resolving conflicts among staff and guests through effective service recovery strategies Partnering with the Back of House Management Team to manage costs through careful portion control and waste reduction Estimating food and beverage needs and placing orders with suppliers accordingly Maintaining financial records and employee documentation Preparing payroll and overseeing related records Ensuring compliance with all relevant company and government regulations to avoid legal issues Coordinating maintenance and repairs for any malfunctioning equipment Fostering the development of managers and staff through regular one-on-one meetings, training, coaching, and performance evaluations Creating a dynamic and collaborative environment where all team members work cohesively Driving growth and sales through strategic marketing initiatives Conducting regular financial reviews to assess performance metrics

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in fine dining within a General Manager capacity Proven experience in a comparable setting Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility to adjust priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficient in conducting both written and verbal performance evaluations Solid business acumen and financial understanding Excellent verbal and written communication skills Outstanding organizational capabilities Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Food and Beverage Management, or a related field is an asset
