About the Role

Aecon Infrastructure Management Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement construction specifications and procedures to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
    • Establish and monitor construction work schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Contract Management
    • Prepare and review contract documents to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Evaluate tenders for construction projects to ensure they meet company requirements and are the best value for the company.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and mentor technicians, technologists, and engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects successfully.
    • Review and approve designs, calculations, and cost estimates to ensure they meet company standards and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
