Client Services Representative

Job Summary
The Ottawa Humane Society is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Client Services Representative to join our team. As the first point of contact for the community, you will play a critical role in ensuring that individuals receive the help and information they need in a timely and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, responding to inquiries and concerns in a courteous and empathetic manner.
- Assist clients with accessing resources and services, including animal adoption, spay/neuter services, and educational programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and volunteers to promote the Society's mission and services.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills in areas such as customer service, community outreach, and animal welfare.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of community outreach and engagement strategies to promote the Society's services and programs.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in customer service, community outreach, or a related field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
