Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Operations Supervisor to join our team at Tapestery Collection By Hilton. As a key member of our hotel management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our hotel, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and that our hotel runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Hotel Operations
    • Oversee the work of our hotel staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate and assign work to ensure that our hotel runs smoothly and that our guests receive excellent service.
  • Assist Guests with Special Needs
    • Provide exceptional service to our guests, including those with special needs.
  • Manage Hotel Staff
    • Hire, train, and develop our hotel staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to our guests.
    • Ensure that our hotel staff are aware of and comply with our company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain Hotel Operations
    • Ensure that our hotel's computer systems, equipment, and machinery are functioning properly and that any issues are addressed promptly.
    • Requisition materials and supplies as needed to ensure that our hotel runs smoothly.
  • Supervise and Manage Hotel Staff
    • Supervise and manage a team of 5-10 hotel staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work in a Fast-Paced Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Meet Tight Deadlines
    • Meet tight deadlines and work under pressure to ensure that our hotel runs smoothly and that our guests receive exceptional service.
  • Develop and Maintain a Positive Work Environment
    • Develop and maintain a positive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and collaboration among our hotel staff.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a hotel management or operations role
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
    • Ability to supervise and manage a team of hotel staff
    • Knowledge of hotel operations and management principles
    • Ability to maintain a positive work environment and foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration
