About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Sales Director to join our Downtown Collection Sales Team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and establishing a strong presence in the Toronto market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and maximize market penetration.
  • Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, event planners, travel agencies, and other stakeholders.
  • Business Development: Drive business development initiatives to expand our client base and revenue streams.
  • Sales Performance: Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and generate regular reports for senior management.
  • Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with clients to secure profitable deals while ensuring alignment with company objectives and policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other departments, including operations, finance, membership, programming, and events, to ensure seamless execution of client requirements and deliver exceptional service.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales management within the hospitality industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Sales Skills: Strong sales skill set with the ability to creatively strategize to meet goals.
  • Communication: Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, including market trends, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Strategic Thinking: Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective sales strategies.
  • Analytical Skills: Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
