About the Company:

Adecco, a leading provider of workforce solutions, is partnering with a prominent hardware products company to fill a full-time Territory Sales Representative position in a dynamic sales environment. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new business relationships and retaining existing customers.

About the Role:

As a Territory Sales Representative, you will:

  • Visit targeted clients to grow the customer base and identify new business opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Optimize product selection to improve sales and meet customer demands.
  • Respond to customer inquiries about products and services.
  • Attend trade shows and sales meetings to stay up-to-date on industry trends and network with key stakeholders.
  • Prepare information packages and other supporting materials to facilitate customer engagement.
  • Produce expense reports to ensure accurate tracking of business expenses.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, prospects, and service proposals to inform sales strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of the sales strategy and marketing plan to drive business growth.
  • Keep customers informed about company product modifications, changes, and enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

  • Must be legally eligible to work and reside in Canada.
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing or a related field is an asset, combined with relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar sales role.
  • Experience in wholesale distribution to industrial manufacturers, with a focus on the secondary wood processing industry, is highly desirable.
  • Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
  • Good computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and strong presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Organized, autonomous, resourceful, and hardworking.

Compensation Package:

The compensation package includes a base salary, commission, car allowance, group insurance program, and employee share purchase plan.
