We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Granville Island Restaurant Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the high standards of our customers.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure seamless food preparation and service.
- Manage inventory and supplies to maintain optimal kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with our culinary team to create innovative and delicious dishes that exceed customer expectations.
- Ensure that all food safety and sanitation standards are met and maintained.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity.
- Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance their culinary skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Proven track record of menu development and implementation.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff members.
