We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Security Operations Coordinator to join our team at Paladin Security. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching security staff, handling incident call taking, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients and security staff.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and dispatch security staff to ensure timely and effective response to incidents and requests.
- Handle incident call taking and provide accurate and timely information to clients and security staff.
- Communicate with police, fire department, and EMS as required.
- Update and maintain security staff schedules, including filling shifts as vacancies arise.
- Strategically plan schedules to utilize resources effectively and efficiently to avoid unnecessary overtime.
- Provide information to staff regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability/locations.
- Consistently update management with accurate daily open shift logs.
- Create, update, and modify work schedules for security guards within Paladin Security.
- Working knowledge of the security industry is an asset.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Superior customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of ESA, Human Rights, and Labour Relations.
- Extensive paid industry training.
