Security Operations Coordinator

As a key member of the Paladin Security team, the Scheduler/Dispatcher will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Kingston Branch Office.
Responsibilities:
* Communicate effectively with clients, security staff, and other stakeholders through various telecommunications systems and equipment.
* Respond to calls from hospital staff, security staff, and the general public, dispatching security staff as needed.
* Collaborate with emergency services, including police, fire department, and EMS, as required.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date security staff schedules, filling shifts as vacancies arise and strategically planning schedules to optimize resource utilization.
* Provide timely information to staff regarding additional shifts, coverages, and shift availability/locations.
* Ensure accurate and consistent daily open shift logs are maintained and updated.
* Develop, update, and modify work schedules for security guards in Ottawa and Kingston.
Requirements:
* Working knowledge of the security industry is an asset.
* Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
* Superior customer service skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Familiarity with ESA, Human Rights, and Labour Relations.
